Artist's Description

Tsvaygenbaum's painting "The Talmudist" is dedicated to people versed in the Talmud. Tsvaygenbaum's father liked to share his Talmudic knowledge with him and would tell him about the sources of Jewish law. When he started to work on this painting he understood how much he missed his father. Tsvaygenbaum thinks that if he paid more attention to his father's interpretations of the Talmudic text, he would be better off today.
